Deirdre has worked in the B-BBEE industry since 2010, gaining extensive experience across the verification and transformation landscape. Over the course of her career, she has developed a strong understanding of the practical and regulatory considerations businesses face when navigating B-BBEE.

This depth of knowledge has established Deirdre as a respected voice in the B-BBEE space. Her experience brings a practical and informed perspective to conversations around transformation and the role of B-BBEE in South African business.

Deirdre is also a regular commentator on South Africa’s evolving transformation landscape, contributing insights on B-BBEE legislation, Employment Equity, Skills Development, Enterprise and Supplier Development, and the commercial implications of transformation policy. Deirdre holds her BEE Management Development Programme (MDP) qualification and has the technical competence to operate as a technical signatory when required. While she is not currently an analyst, her technical understanding remains an important part of her leadership role at Honeycomb.
